The department of child health and diseases, also known as pediatrics, deals with the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of individuals throughout the process ranging from birth to adolescence. Individuals under the age of 18, defined as children, have their congenital diseases, regular vaccination tracking, mental, physical, and motor development monitored. During routine check-ups performed during this process, various aspects such as the development of daily life skills, expression and comprehension, neurological and psychological development, as well as the growth of babies’ height, weight, and nutrition, are controlled and monitored.
